NEW GENERATION PARTNERING

Finally! Important breakthrough -- Chugach Electric pro-consumer board leads in partnering with Homer Electric for new generation to save ratepayers money. Golden Valley Electric also joins in to form a Unified Power Provider (UPP) for the Railbelt.

FIRST TIME UTILITIES ARE KNOWN TO HAVE EVER COMMITTED TO PROVIDING ELECTRICITY AT THE "LOWEST COST POSSIBLE!!"

THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT ACHIEVEMENT. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NEW CHUGACH ELECTRIC REFORM BOARD FOR ITS LEADERSHIP AND OUTREACH TO HOMER ELECTRIC.
